There will be 6×2 ft signs at HWY 40 that read “Drum Circle” They are bright yellow and should be easy to see.
When you are traveling down HWY 40 you will come across a small sign that says Camp Kiwanis Turn Here. You can see the big concrete pillars that mark the entrance to the Ocala National Forest. It is a nice asphalt road that winds into the Ocala forest a short way then turns to dirt. Do not follow the paved road to the left, it will turn into a boat ramp. Be sure to drive straight down the dirt road and turn on SE 3rd. ST.
That will turn you onto a small dirt road that winds back to the Camp Kiwanis entrance.
It is less than two miles from the paved road. You can see Mill Dam Lake from HWY 40, and if you look hard you can see the beach at Camp Kiwanis from the road.
There is a grocery store within 5 miles of Camp Kiwanis, toward Silver Springs.
