The paralounge drum grooves are some of the best sustained, non competitive, danceable drum fire dances that I’ve witnessed around the country. And the people get along! There is no aggression. The Paralounge Drum Gathering is not a religous event. The Paralounge supports all belief systems and provides an environment that is friendly to all cultures. Rhythm is a universal language!
The Paralounge promotes indigenous music from around the world. When you experience the Drum Gathering, you will feel the excitement of cultural interaction. You will experience exotic instruments that our ancestors created. The African Djembe, Australian Didgeridoo, and Native American Flute, are a few examples of the variety of global influence.
Each ParaLounge Drum Gathering we give away lots of musical instruments. The Paralounge has given hundreds of unique, high quality instruments to lucky winners at each event. Drums, flutes, didgeridoos, and other exciting instruments have been given away. It's our way of saying "Thank you" to a community that supports us, and promoting new musicians for our future.
