Spirit of the Circle is an educational presentation of “Understanding the Drum Circle“. Learn about the Dynamic of the Drum Circle. All of your senses will be able to detect the difference it makes when you understand the placement of instruments, the importance of different instruments, your place in the circle and the Empathy you bring!

7:57 pm Sunset Jam on the lake! Bring your favorite instrument and play as the sunsets behind the lake.

9:00 pm Rhythm Attunement: Sound Bath and Meditation with Gongs, Chimes and Singing Bowls. Audience participation. Learn to play these beautiful instruments.

10:00 pm All Night Drum Circle. Enjoy a beautiful fire in the field with the stars above you.

1:00 pm …. Introduction to the Drum Circle with Clinton Tipton. Learn basic etiquette and understand DC structure, instrumentation and Personal Dynamics.

2:30 pm …. Introduction to the Australian Didgeridoo, with Jeremy Lembo. Learn the techniques for playing this beautiful and ancient instrument.

4:00 pm … Intro to the Flute with George Tortorelli

6:00 pm …. Dinner with the family: Plan to sit and eat together.

7:58 pm Sunset Jam on the Lake: Watch the sun go down and play your favorite instrument.

Paralounge Inc. reserves the right to deny admission to any person or party. Paralounge Inc. reserves the right to use any image or video taken during this event, for promotional purposes.   • Reserve a Bunk in Male or Female Bunkhouse.
  • Rent an entire Dorm with Multiple bunk beds for large groups.
  • Rent G Dorm Apartment (6 people) Two bedroom, living room (fold out couch) full bath and kitchenette Bedroom 1 has double bed. Bedroom 2 has two single beds.
  • Rent M Dorm Apartment (6 people) Two bedroom, living room (fold out couch) full bath and kitchenette Bedroom 1 has double bed. Bedroom 2 has two single beds.

You can reserve a bunk in the Bunkhouse. There will be a Male and Female bunkhouse. You must bring your own pillow and blanket. Paralounge Inc. is not responsible for any Lost or Stolen items. This is a great option for anyone who does not camp and does not mind sharing Community space. Rooms DO NOT LOCK! Rental Agreements are for Two Nights.

Things you need to know!

Camp Kiwanis has all the amenities we need to enjoy a weekend of magic! Here are some important things you need to know in order to be prepared. Camp Kiwanis is not a full time campground, it is a Youth Camp. It is Paralounge policy to leave the space better than we found it, so we Respect their rules and clean up after ourselves.

  • You have to walk your camping gear into the camping areas. Vehicles have an unloading area, then you must park in available spaces
  • No digging holes. All fires must be in a container.
  • Camping is no longer aloud near the water.
  • Bears are present in the National Forest!! Please keep all food put away at night. Snakes, biting insects and poisonous plants are present in the forest as well.
  • If you like to sleep late… don’t camp next to the playground.
  • No smoking inside of ANY building! Please pick up any cigarette butts and micro trash off the ground and distribute into a trash can.
  • Hot Showers and Bathrooms are available.

Rain or Shine we have an amazing pavilion to enjoy!

Indoor Pavilion for ParaLounge events, hosting drumming sessions and gatherings, rain or shine, for attendees.

Please enjoy the lake at your own risk! No lifeguards will be on duty! Absolutely no children permitted near the water without a parent or legal guardian.

Beautiful Mill Dam Lake with swimmers, kayakers, and a relaxing environment perfect for a ParaLounge event.
